East Coast Comedy presents Mohammed Magdi (HK) for a spectacular night of comedy at Monk's Brew Club right in the heart of the East Coast.

Mohammed Magdi is one of the best comedians in the region and we're honoured to be hosting him at East Coast Comedy. Let's start with his accolades!

Winner of the Bangkok International Comedy Festival

First runner-up of the China International Comedy Festival 2016 and a multiple-time finalist of the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival.

Has opened for Jim Gaffigan, Gad Elmale and Joe Wong.

Sold out his first run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2025

Mohammed Magdi is a stand-up comedian currently based in Hong Kong. Originally from Egypt,

Mohammed started his stand-up career in 2013 in Shanghai, China, where he was a regularfeature, MC, and headliner at China’s only full-time comedy club, and then he went on to headline and perform in other cities all over, including Melbourne, Sydney. Singapore, Moscow, Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuhan, Xiamen, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Seoul, Yangon, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Manila, Taipei, Kaohsiung,Bangkok, Hua Hin, Dubai, and Cairo. He is the founder and producer for Backstage Comedy in Hong Kong.

Time

Doors Open at 7 p.m at Monk's Brew Club right in the heart of the Joo Chiat. The show will start approximately at 8:00 p.m with a short intermission of 15 mins and the whole programme will end by 9:45 p.m.
