Enjoy an interesting and informative walk around a Surrey nature reserve where we'll learn about the remarkable diversity of plant life present. Using all our senses, we'll identify a wide range of tree, shrub and perennial species, discuss the culinary and medicinal values or toxicity of our finds and delve into the associated ecology, folklore, literature and law.
Wild food and medicine is all around us. My aim is to introduce you to the abundance on your doorstep, help you seperate out the good, the bad and the ugly and encourage ecological awareness and sustainable foraging.
There's also lots of other interesting wildlife to see too!
This gentle walk will last around three hours.
