Dundas Studio Recital - “Canto d’Amore: An Afternoon of Italian Art Song”

The voice students of Prof. Robert B. Dundas invite you to join them for a recital of Italian art songs. This recital will shine a spotlight on the lyrical treasures of Italian art song, offering a rare chance to hear the great opera composers away from the stage. From the bel canto elegance of the 19th century to the dramatic intensity and lyric intimacy of the 20th, these songs reveal the great opera composers in a more personal light. Stripped of spectacle but rich in melody and emotion, the program invites audiences into the heart of Italian song—where operatic passion meets the intimacy of poetry.
