Drum Making day in RUGBY

Come and join us as we gather together in ceremony to bring our new drums into the world!

When: 11th April
Where: Hillmorton, Rugby
Timing: 10-7pm

Come and step into our sacred drum making ceremony!
Firstly, we will ground and connect, setting the intentions for our drums.

Then we work with the hoop and hide, honouring both and their medicine, before we begin preparing the hide pieces - cutting the drum head and the lacing.

Once all is ready we begin the task of weaving our drums together, bringing hide over hoop and pulling the tension which will create the unique sound of your very own drum.

Once the drums are complete we make a beater and then take part in a drum journey to meet the spirit of your drums!

This is a full days workshop 10-7pm
