This Christmas, our choir and guest artists （the Royal College of Music) invite you to a night where music blossoms into kindness and love.

Journey through the seasons with performances that touch the soul — from stirring choral harmonies and much-loved classical works, to Christmas favourites and contemporary pieces; from graceful Chinese traditional dance and an exhilarating piano duet, to expressive poetic cello and a heartfelt cello duet; from the enchanting sounds of the guzheng (a traditional Chinese instrument), to solo voices that transform into a moving, fluidly interwoven duet, and an evocative blend of classical and flamenco guitar accompanied by piano — and much more…

Together, let us experience this journey of love, and let the warmth we find here become a story we share with the world.

All proceeds from this Christmas Charity Concert will be donated as emergency aid to support our fellow Hong Kong citizens affected by the recent fire.

Though the fire is ruthless, humanity is full of compassion. When one side suffers, support comes from all directions.
On 26 November, a devastating fire broke out at Kwong Fuk Estate in Tai Po, New Territories, causing significant loss of life and injury. The tragic news has deeply shaken and saddened us, the overseas sons and daughters of Hong Kong. The UK Chinese Youth Choir extends our deepest condolences to all victims and their families, and our heartfelt gratitude to the brave frontline workers who risked their lives in the rescue efforts.

From every corner of the world, we hope to gather the love, warmth, and solidarity of the overseas Chinese community, offering strength and support to our fellow citizens in their darkest moments, helping them rebuild their homes and regain hope.

本次圣诞慈善音乐会的所有善款，将作为紧急捐赠，用于援助在香港火灾中受难的同胞。

大火无情，人间有爱；一方有难，八方驰援。

11月26日，香港新界大埔宏福苑突发严重火灾，造成重大人员伤亡。噩耗传来，我们远在海外的游子无不揪心、悲痛。英国华人青年合唱团在此向所有受难者和他们的家属致以最深切的慰问，并向奋战在第一线、不顾安危救援的工作人员表达由衷的敬意和感谢。

我们盼望能从世界的每一个角落，汇聚海外游子的爱与温暖，为同胞送上最真挚的支持与力量，与他们共同度过黑暗时刻，助力他们重建家园、重拾希望。

在此，我们诚挚邀请您——与我们一起在音乐中寄托对同胞的哀思与祝福；用歌声传递温暖，让爱的季节涌出希望的清泉……

根据中华海外联谊会提供的信息，我们将把善款统一直接捐赠至香港特区政府设立的“大埔宏福苑援助基金”，并会向住英中国大使馆提供相关转账记录及凭证。同时，我们将在本公众号公布捐款信息，方便大家查阅和跟进。
