Join the Nursing team from the School of Health Sciences for a fascinating, hands‑on experience exploring the human body using the Anatomage Table, a life‑size, interactive digital anatomy system used in healthcare and science education at the University of Southampton.
This session offers a unique opportunity to see real human anatomy in extraordinary detail. Guided by staff and students from the Nursing team, visitors will be taken step‑by‑step through the body, exploring organs, muscles, bones and systems in a clear, accessible way. The Anatomage Table allows users to virtually dissect the body, helping to bring anatomy to life without the need for models or textbooks.
Designed for a wide audience, this activity is suitable for anyone with a curiosity about how the human body works - no prior scientific knowledge required. Whether you're interested in healthcare, science, education, or simply want to learn something new, this interactive demonstration offers an engaging and educational experience.
Along the way, we will explain how this technology is used to train future healthcare professionals and how digital tools are transforming learning in medicine, nursing, and allied health disciplines.
Come and explore the human body in a way you've never seen before.
