Calling all local designers who crave community and what to get deeper into the design industry! Our next gathering invites you to join us in a gathering in The Parlour and sit in on a casual "round table" Q&A with interior photographer Heather Talbert.

OUR GUEST :

Heather is a female creative business owner who specializes in interior and lifestyle photography.

With a degree in advertising she left the corporate world to study fashion photography at Miami Ad School. Her background in shooting fashion lends her a unique perspective on capturing interiors. She loves creatively collaborating with designers and stylists to achieve beautiful imagery. Heather focuses on primarily using natural light while also having the ability to use strobe lighting if the space calls for it.

Heather and her family recently moved from Chicago to the northern suburbs.

We'll have complimentary mimosas charcuterie from our neighbors at Marché to gather around as we connect with each other, shop, and find out more about the behind the scenes perspective from Heather as a professional interior photographer. Some things we may touch on:

• What things to consider if shooting on your iPhone
• How to level up your visibility with photography (like if you were trying to get in AD or other magazines) + when it's worth the investment
• Photography for independent designers vs. design firms
• What makes a sucessful shoot
