West Bridgford Library is delighted to be hosting a series of relaxed screenings of films and musicals.
A silent film star falls for a chorus girl just as he and his delusionally jealous screen partner are trying to make the difficult transition to talking pictures in 1920s Hollywood.
This relaxed screening is particularly suitable for people living with dementia and memory challenges, their family and friends but anyone is welcome. Please feel free to talk, sing and move during the screening.
Doors will open 15 minutes before the screening and there will be a 20 minute interval. We will be sensitive to the audience when it comes to lighting and volume. A quiet space for anyone needing a brief break from the film will be available in a meting room on the ground floor of the library. Screening will be taking place in the main library on the ground floor.
If you have any additional requirements or questions before booking please contact ask@inspireculture.org.uk
Tickets available through the Eventbrite link or at the Library.
