Calm a busy mind with Yoga Nidra and reflective journalling. A gentle Leeds workshop designed to help you de-stress and find inner quiet.

Join Sarah Ord for a deeply nourishing Yoga Nidra and Journalling workshop — a chance to truly slow down, soften, and reset.

Yoga Nidra, often called yogic sleep, is a guided meditation practice that offers all the benefits of yoga without moving an inch. You’ll be gently led into a state of profound rest, where the body relaxes, the mind quietens, and the nervous system can finally exhale.
As you’re guided through different brainwave states, you’ll drift into deep relaxation - that delicious space between waking and sleep where tension melts away and clarity, creativity, and calm naturally arise.

A regular Yoga Nidra practice is known to:

- Reduce anxiety and stress
- Improve sleep and support nervous system regulation
- Boost creativity and mental clarity
- Leave you feeling grounded, peaceful, and restored

This workshop also weaves in gentle movement to help you arrive in your body, guidance on how to create your perfect Yoga Nidra nest (think cosy, supported, and deeply comfortable), and spacious time to reflect and journal.

Journalling offers a powerful way to step out of the thinking mind, helping you declutter thoughts, process emotions, and reconnect with what really matters. It’s a simple yet effective tool for easing stress and cultivating self-awareness.

We’ll close the session with a sweet treat, gently awakening the senses and helping you transition back into your day feeling calm, clear, and cared for.

Please bring a pen and notepad with you.

Perfect for:

Beginners and experienced yogis alike
Busy minds, tired bodies, and anyone craving deep rest
Those feeling overwhelmed, wired, or struggling to switch off

Is this workshop for you?

You might be drawn to this workshop if…

- Your mind feels constantly busy, even when you’re exhausted
- You struggle to switch off at night or wake feeling unrested
- You’re carrying stress, tension, or anxiety and don’t know how to properly release it
- You’re always in doing mode and rarely give yourself permission to truly rest
- You crave quiet, spaciousness, and time to reconnect with yourself — without having to talk or perform
- You’ve tried relaxation before but found it hard to actually relax

If any of this resonates, this workshop is an invitation to pause.

Why join this Yoga Nidra & Journalling workshop?

This is not about fixing yourself or adding another thing to your to-do list.
It’s about deep, intentional rest, the kind that recalibrates your nervous system and leaves you feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

In this workshop you’ll:

- Experience true rest through Yoga Nidra, a practice that works even when you feel too tired to “do” yoga
- Learn a tool you can return to at home whenever stress, overwhelm, or sleeplessness shows up
- Gently quiet the mental noise and create space for insight, clarity, and creativity
- Use journalling to offload thoughts, process emotions, and reconnect with what you need right now
- Leave feeling calm, nourished, and supported, not rushed or depleted

This is time set aside just for you.

No expectations. No pressure. Just rest, reflection, and a chance to reset.
