Join us for a heartwarming, family-friendly craft event in our historic schoolhouse! Decorate your own quilted heart to take home and share with the community as part of the I Found a Quilted Heart project. Each heart becomes a small token of kindness waiting to brighten someone’s day.
I Found a Quilted Heart (IFAQH) is a community of volunteers who anonymously create and place small quilted hearts around the globe to put a smile on someone's face. It began in January 2014 when the founders - The Three Sisters - were vacationing with family in Nevada. They found a heart near a remote cave with a tag that said, "I need a home." They decided that they should pass this joy forward and started sewing hearts. They took day trips and left hearts in public places for random strangers to find. You can visit their website for more information.
