This brand-new video games event is brought to you by the team behind the Bristol and Nottingham Video Game Expo events, in partnership with Norwich’s very own Debug magazine.
We’re also working closely with Did You Know Gaming?, The Spriters Resource, and many other friends of ours, to be revealed as we get closer to the show.
DGF will take you on a journey through gaming’s past, present, and future — from a huge selection of retro titles (including rare and obscure consoles, with appearances from some of the people who made them) right up to the cutting edge of today and tomorrow, with over 100 upcoming games, plus hands-on VR and augmented reality experiences.
And just like any great games festival, you’ll also find artists, traders, and creators bringing unique merch, artwork, and game culture to the marketplace.
The Arena Stage — Home to multiple exciting headline events, including the fan-favourite Did You Know Gaming? quiz and The Dark Room!
Other headline shows will be revealed closer to the event, and will include talks and Q&As from accomplished game developers, artists, musicians, and more — sharing anecdotes, insights, and advice to inspire the next generation.
The Academy — A place to learn new skills directly from industry experts, covering everything from streaming and content creation to practical game development techniques.
In the build-up, we’ll be revealing more exciting details about DGF 2026 live on stream every Thursday at 8:00pm (UK time) — including new guests, exhibitors, and partners.
Our mission is simple:
To make games culture accessible, inspire future developers, and entertain everyone who loves video games.
