Dance Workshop

Join us for an exciting 4-week dance workshop exploring the dynamic world of Musical Theatre Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary Movement! Two sessions designed for ages 15 through adults and children & teens ages 10 to 14, this program provides a fun and engaging environment to develop technique, confidence, and performance skills.

Each week will focus on a different aspect of musical theatre dance:

• Week 1 – Musical Theatre Jazz: Learn high-energy choreography inspired by classic and modern musical theatre productions, focusing on sharp lines, storytelling, and stage presence.
• Week 2 – Tap for the Stage: Strengthen rhythm, coordination, and musicality through tap dance techniques and combinations influenced by Broadway classics.
• Week 3 – Contemporary & Lyrical Expression: Explore fluid movement, emotional storytelling, and contemporary dance techniques that bring depth to musical theatre performances.
• Week 4 - Review of all three styles where dancers will build versatility, refine their skills, and expand their movement vocabulary in a supportive and inspiring atmosphere.

Children & Teens (Ages 10-14) 9:30am-noon $40 per student. Includes all four workshops

Adult Programming (Ages 15+) 1pm to 3pm $50 per student. Includes all four workshops

Meets Saturdays, November 1, 8, 15 & 22
