The Fire and Police Commission invites community members and partners to a public screening of CYCLE, a documentary film that examines the use of deadly force by police through the lens of a 2019 incident in Racine, Wisconsin. The film explores the human, institutional, and community impacts that follow critical incidents involving law enforcement.
Following the screening, attendees will be invited to participate in a facilitated discussion designed to encourage thoughtful dialogue, reflection, and shared understanding. Community partners and panelists will help frame the conversation around accountability, public safety, and the role of institutions in responding to critical incidents.
This event is intended to provide space for learning, respectful conversation, and connection among community members, public safety stakeholders, and civic partners.
