LAUNCHING FEBRUARY 3rd and Every Tuesday After!

Launching February 3 and returning every other Tuesday from 7–9 PM, Culture Shock Comedy brings together some of the funniest comics from all over the world in the heart of Harlem.

This show is extra special — Culture Shock was the very first comedy show produced by Vanetta Schoefield, founder and organizer of Funny Hunnyz. We’re going back to the basics: great jokes, real stories, global perspectives, and big laughs in community.

Hosted at Silvana — one of New York City’s coziest Mediterranean–Israeli restaurants, voted Best in Harlem — this is the perfect mix of good food, intimate vibes, and truly diverse comedy. Expect accents, identity jokes, diaspora chaos, immigrant parents, Brooklyn kids, Southern cousins, and everything in between.

Come laugh with:

  • comedians representing cultures from around the world
  • women, LGBTQ+, immigrant, first-gen & international voices
  • comics with stories that don’t always get the mic

Yes — diversity is required.
Yes — everyone is welcome.
Yes — it gets hilarious.

Join Vanetta Schoefield and her culturally shocking, shockingly funny friends for a night that feels like your group chat came to life onstage.
