A hands-on, highly interactive, sector gathering where you'll get the chance to help co-create the Thurrock Plan for Culture action plan

Thurrock-based creatives, cultural and heritage organisations, freelancers and colleagues from health, education, skills and allied sectors — this one’s for you.

We’re working with Thurrock Council to develop an Implementation Plan for Thurrock’s Plan for Culture, and we'd love you to join us for this Culture in action: Co-designing Our Cultural Future sector gathering.

Expect an informal and highly interactive afternoon, where your ideas, experience and ambitions will directly influence Thurrock's cultural future. All this will be kicked off by Jenny Harris, Programme Director at Bradford 2025, who’ll be sharing with us details of how community co-design has been so impactful locally.

Our aim is to nurture connections, collaborations and a the development of a co-designed plan, and whether you’re an individual artist or freelancer, part of a larger organisation or working in an aligned field your voice matters, and we'd love to see you there!

Lunch and other light refreshments are included, and a number of bursaries are available on a first come first served basis to freelancers who may find it difficult to otherwise attend.
