Join us at The National Videogame Museum on 18th March to meet other culture sector workers, creatives and freelancers.
There’ll be plenty of open networking time, plus a space for call-outs where you can share opportunities, events and ideas with the room.
The event will run from 5-7pm.
Installations
Alex Johansson
Alex Johansson is an award winning experimental games designer, educator and installation designer from Sheffield. His work centres around crafting playful and approachable games installations for public spaces and running creative workshops to engage audiences without play, such as the elderly and young people with disabilities. He is currently collaborating on a research project with Sheffield University to design playful hardware for care homes and people living with dementia.
Rock Paper Wizards
Rock, Paper, Wizards is a vibrant LED experience where duelling wizards cast spells against one another! By tapping their wands on the 3 different glyphs on the table, coloured spells are cast that clash and counteract one another. The game was co-created through a mix of tech, play and craft workshops with students at Crags Community School and was shown at the Plug in and Play festival in Rotherham, Halloween 2025.
