
Crystal Palace Park Trust welcomes Sarah Aarons to lead a Winter Wellbeing Alternative Fitness Festival on the iconic Concert Platform.
Join Sarah Aarons and her team for a fun, inclusive fitness event as part of Crystal Palace Park Trust’s Winter Wellbeing season.
The festival features six ‘alternative’ 25-minute mini fitness sessions. You’re welcome to join one session or several — choose what feels right for you.
Schedule
12:00pm – VIIT (Variable Intensity Interval Training)
An outdoor interval training session designed to be adaptable and inclusive. Exercises can be adjusted to suit different fitness levels, allowing participants to work at a pace that feels comfortable and appropriate for them.
12:30pm – Retro Aerobics
A feel-good aerobics session inspired by classic 80s and 90s music, featuring familiar movements and plenty of nostalgia.
1:00pm – Shuffle n Bass
Curious about Shuffle Dance or enjoy the energy of Drum & Bass music? This session offers a lively way to explore movement and rhythm in a relaxed, supportive environment.
1:30pm – Rave Barre
A fitness class inspired by ballet-based movements, focusing on building strength and body awareness. Set to a mix of old-school rave classics, this session also supports posture and flexibility.
2:00pm – Fitness Fiesta
A dance-based fitness class that puts enjoyment first, using simple movements set to an eclectic mix of popular music.
2:30pm – Shesensu
A new fitness concept combining breathwork, dynamic stretching, cardio, balance and floor-based sculpting. The class draws on a mix of movement styles and is designed to support whole-body engagement and relaxation.
You can attend as many or as few sessions as you like.
Sessions are free, but advance booking is strongly recommended.

Who is it for?
This event is open to people aged 12 and over, whether you’re new to fitness or already enjoy regular movement.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Where will it take place?
At the Crystal Palace Concert Platform in Crystal Palace Park.
The venue is covered but outdoors, so please dress warmly — you may wish to layer up.
