Join us for a cozy, creativity-filled afternoon at Roots Heaven Farm as we welcome February with lavender, texture, and handmade charm. In this guided workshop, you’ll create a petite lavender wreath paired with sweet needle-felted love birds—perfect décor for your home just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Your wreath will be built on a natural grapevine base (approximately 5 inches tall), allowing you to fill it with farm-grown lavender or add subtle accents for a more minimalist look. The soothing scent of lavender is known to calm the senses, while its soft gray-purple tones beautifully complement the handcrafted felt birds.

You’ll be provided with pre-made felt balls and step-by-step instructions in needle felting to bring your love birds to life. Create a classic pair—or an entire bird family if inspiration strikes. As always, you’ll head home with a mini needle-felting kit so you can continue creating long after the workshop ends.

Before you leave, don’t forget to visit the farm’s friendly alpacas, goats, and two adorable miniature donkeys (weather permitting). They enjoy the company and would love to admire what you’ve made.
