Craft Your Future – Set Goals, Find Calm, and Create with Joy workshop for women and women with children.

Start the year with creativity and clarity.
This free, welcoming workshop is all about crafting and creating your personal Vision Board—a powerful way to focus on your goals for the next 6 months and the year ahead. Together, we’ll explore practical steps for managing stress, coping with family responsibilities, and planning for positive changes like finding a new job or improving your work-life balance.
No experience is needed—just bring your ideas and enthusiasm! Child-friendly, with refreshments and support provided.

What to expect:

• Vision Board Crafting: Use A3 paper, colorful pictures, magazines, glue, scissors, paints, and crayons to create a visual representation of your goals and dreams for 2026
• Goal Setting: Learn simple techniques to set achievable goals for family life, career changes, and personal wellbeing
• Stress Management Tips: Explore easy breathing exercises and visualization practices to stay calm and positive—even during busy times
• Practical Family Hacks:
o How to limit screen time for kids without arguments
o Budget-friendly meal planning for healthy family nutrition
o Fun weekend and after-school activities that don’t involve tablets or phones
o 5-minute self-care for mums: quick breathing, mini-meditation, and planning your day ahead
• Sharing Ideas: Discuss practical ways to cope with family challenges, look for job opportunities, and maintain balance

The workshop is designed to help you feel inspired, focused, and ready to take positive steps toward the life you want.

Part of the Make Share Heal programme

This session is one of 11 monthly workshops in Make Share Heal—a 12-month wellbeing programme for women aged 18–49 in Pype Hayes, Birmingham. The project helps women strengthen wellbeing, build resilience, and brings togetherness through creativity and community. It warmly welcomes migrant women from Ukraine, Poland, and across Central and Eastern Europe, as well as local women, including those from facing life challenges, who want to find community and connection.

Alongside the workshop, participants can access optional one-to-one support and information on local services including housing, employment, mental health care, childcare, and community resources. Multilingual support is available.

The workshop is facilitated by Monika Lenard, an experienced women’s group leader with over 20 years of practice in creating safe, trauma-informed environments for personal growth and community connection. Monika brings compassion, cultural awareness, and a deep commitment to helping women feel grounded, empowered, and supported. She weaves together circle dances, breathing techniques, traditional folk music, and creative arts, offering an inclusive experience shaped by cultural heritage and wellbeing.

Free to attend. Refreshments provided.
