Cozy Craft Club (CCC) is a relaxed, come-as-you-are gathering for people who enjoy making things and want to craft together, not take a formal class.
This afternoon will focus on furoshiki, the Japanese art of fabric wrapping. I’ll do a short demo showing how I use furoshiki to wrap gifts and everyday items, and then we’ll all have time to try it out, experiment, and chat. The goal is connection and creativity.
This is not a workshop. It’s a low-pressure craft gathering where we make alongside one another and enjoy good conversation.
Each person will receive one fabric wrap to work with and take home. I’ll also have a few additional wraps available for purchase if you’d like more.
After the demo, you’re also very welcome to bring another craft or project to work on if you’d like—knitting, crochet, hand sewing, paper crafts, or anything portable and cozy.
Tickets are free to reserve your spot. I’ll ask for a $5 cash donation at the door to help cover supplies. If cost is a barrier, please don’t let that stop you from coming.
If you enjoy crafting, trying new things, meeting new people, and being in a cozy, welcoming space, you’re very welcome here.
