Gain the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to host safe, engaging and educational visits on your farm.

Become CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme) and confidently host visits on-farm with this 3 day course.

Part funded by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and delivered by LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming), the three day in-person CEVAS Education course, brings farmers togther at a rural location to learn about the practicalities involved in hosting visits; how food and farming can be incorporated into the school curriculum, and how to communicate effectively with both teachers and pupils.

The extended three day format allows time to explore practical activities, share ideas and develop engaging, curriculum-linked experiences for visiting groups.

With full support from an experienced tutor, you will build a portfolio of evidence leading to the nationally recognised OCN Level 2 award - valued by schools, insurers and local authorities as a mark of quality and good practice.

Please note: You must attend all sessions to gain accreditation. By booking the course you are confirming you can attend all 3 of the dates listed below. Active participation is a requirement of all course elements.
