Cotonete is a French 8-piece jazz-funk band, formed in Paris around 2005 by Frank Chatona and Florian Pellissier, known for their heavy grooves, vintage 70s' sound, and Brazilian influences, paying homage to artists like Deodato and Herbie Hancock. After a hiatus, they reignited their flame with original music, releasing EPs and albums like Super Villains and Victoire de la Musique, featuring guests such as Omar Lye-Fook and Sabrina Malheiros, blending cosmic funk, soul and disco for dancefloors.
