Under the direction of Mark Suter, with Assistant Director Derek Koh, the NAFA Percussion Ensemble presents The Inexorable Motion of Time — a dynamic programme exploring rhythm, pulse, and the passage of time.
Featuring works by Joseph Tompkins, Ivan Trevino, Shodekeh Talifero, John Psathas, Liu Heng, and Billy Childs, the evening moves from driving contemporary textures to expressive duos and genre-crossing soundscapes. The programme culminates in Childs’ powerful The Inexorable Motion of Time, a vibrant and compelling work that gives the concert its title.
