Launching a new collaboration between local education providers and organisations, and the University of Nottingham

A School of Education event

The Community of Education, Inquiry and Practice (CEIP) aims to foster meaningful collaboration between professionals across local schools, colleges and educational organisations and the University of Nottingham. The CEIP offers a new collaborative space where participants can engage in dialogue, share experiences and expertise from different contexts, and co-create new understandings to collectively respond to educational opportunities and challenges in the region. It is a space where common ground and interests can be identified, multiple perspectives examined, and new possibilities for education continuously explored. Coming out of conversations, we anticipate new collaborative projects emerging which will impact on practice in multiple spaces.

Whilst we want to shape the CEIP with members, we envisage the following possible outcomes from the CEIP:

  • A better shared understanding of practice, expertise, and knowledge across all participating individuals and organisations
  • A greater recognition and understanding of shared problems and challenges affecting the local region, offering the opportunity to work collectively toward solutions
  • The transformation of practice across sites through shared inquiry and innovation

The CEIP is open to all interested professionals, regardless of career stage and current responsibilities.
