Join us for the next Community Network event, bringing together voluntary, community and statutory partners to connect, share insight, and help shape the direction of travel for the year ahead.
This session will include:
- A high-level council update, setting out the current context, priorities, and how the Council intends to work with VCSE partners in the coming months.
- A themed focus on “neighbourhoods”, in anticipation of new national guidance expected on what neighbourhood-based working means for health, communities, and partnership delivery.
- Exploration of why this matters now for Bedford Borough, how neighbourhood approaches are emerging locally, and what this could mean for partnership working across sectors.
- Discussions, creating space to reflect on what is already working well, what needs to change, and what VCSEs need in order to engage meaningfully as neighbourhood approaches develop.
- Time for networking and informal conversations with officers and fellow partners.
The Community Network is a space for dialogue rather than decisions - designed to share information, surface challenges, and collectively prepare for what’s coming next. The session will be participative, reflective, and focused on learning from one another.
