Community Kitchen Meal Drive - Altrincham

Join our Community Cookery School team as we prep, cook & distribute hot meals for our beneficiaries at our original Community Kitchen site at Alty Market! We'll need all the help we can get, as we batch cook on behalf of vulnerable people who receive meals via our partner foodbank and sheltered accommodation network.

There will be a range of jobs on the day including ingredient prep, cooking, allergen labelling and later on distribution to our partner foodbank/sheltered accommodation sites.

No experience is required, although cooking skills are always useful! You can find out more about our work as a social enterprise and other volunteering opportunities via our website.

Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise tackling food poverty and food waste across the UK. Our Community Cookery School teams teach people how to cook, distribute nutritious meals, and help people gain employment in the food sector. In the North West we also operate 2 Community Kitchens: the original site at Altrincham Market (where this meal drive will take place) and a second site in Manchester city centre which opened in November 2024, to mark our 10-year anniversary.
