The Spirit of HOLI:

🎨From Color to 🔥 Fire:

Our celebration honors two ancient traditions. We begin with the Colors, inspired by the playful love of Radha and Krishna, who used bright powders to blur their differences (of color) and become one in spirit.

We end with the Bonfire, representing Holika Dahan—the ultimate triumph of good over evil and the power of a pure heart. As we gather by the fire after the "color chaos," we celebrate the light and lovethat stays with us long after the dust settles

---IMPORTANT ---

WEAR WHITE: shows the colors, the best, then washes out easily, can bleach if necessary

COLORS are organic, eco-friendly. Made of cornstarch and natural colors. Colors washed out of the most things.

EYES AND MOUTH : if desired, bring eye covering and a mask or cloth to cover your mouth.

FOOD: Community Style Healthy Potluck. Begins at 4pm, event set up will begin at 3pm.
Please bring an offering.

LAYERS: bring what you need to be comfortable as the sun goes down and we sit around the campfire

COLOR TIPS: bring a towel for your car seat or a plastic bag to put clothes in that you take off. Put oil on your face/skin or your hair prior to the color throwing to ease the wash out.
