Community Energy in Our Area

Following a popular screening of POWER STATION (www.power.film) at the Common Ground in November, a group of local people are keen to meet with anyone else who is interested in exploring green energy for their homes as a community project.

We want to get local people together (particularly those living on streets off Abbeydale road) at this first meeting for an informal chat and to hear what people are interested in (solar, EV charging, heat pumps, insulation) with the aim of seeing if we can set up our own local community energy group.

Location for the meeting will be the Meeting Room at the Common Ground Community Centre (Machon Bank, Nether Edge, Sheffield S7 1GR). The venue is fully accessible with ramp access from Woodstock Road.
