Community Art Show in Leimert Park

SONS & DAUGHTERS is a one-evening community art show hosted at Lore Bookstore in Leimert Park. The exhibition brings together local artists, neighbors, and families in a shared neighborhood space centered on creativity, presence, and connection, with an underlying spirit of celebration.

Artists are invited to interpret the theme freely, resulting in a range of visual work including painting, photography, illustration, and mixed media. Artwork will be on view throughout the bookstore for the duration of the evening, with a casual reception and an artist conversation closing out the night.

The evening creates space for reflection and celebration around creativity, life, and the people helping shape our local communties.

*A portion of proceeds and donations collected throughout the evening will support The Foxx Foundation, an initiative of Mind Body Birth Wellness and Birthing Center, a midwife birth and reproductive care center in DTLA dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality care to a diverse community.
