About Caroline Clipsham

Described as “a delight to ear and eye” with “a wicked sense of humour that adds to the enjoyment of her playing,” Caroline Clipsham has performed internationally—from Australia to the Arctic Circle.

A graduate of Chetham’s School of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, she later received a scholarship to the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. There, she studied with leading pianists such as John Perry, Gilbert Kalish, and Anton Kuerti, and performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician.

Her festival appearances include the Orford Arts Festival (Quebec), European Arts Festival (Germany), and Brighton Festival. She has also featured in a Carlton Television documentary, performing on Chopin’s original piano.
