Join us for a Civic Saturday gathering focused on community connection, storytelling, and shared responsibility. This free, welcoming event features creative activities, short civic talks, and small group conversations that highlight how schools, neighborhoods, nonprofits, and local government are working together to strengthen our community.
Full Description:
Civic Saturday is a community gathering designed to bring people together across neighborhoods and experiences. Through poetry, storytelling, and conversation, participants will hear local voices share real examples of collaboration, safety, and care in our city.
The morning program includes a poetry workshop, TED-style civic talks from community leaders and partners, facilitated small-group conversations, and a hands-on community art project. Lunch will be provided by Sunward Bank.
Participants are also invited to stay for a community clean-up from 2:00–4:00 PM in partnership with Imagine ABQ, offering an opportunity to turn inspiration into action.
All are welcome. Families, students, neighbors, and community members are encouraged to attend.
