Christopher Papakaliatis's film "What If..." (Αν)explores two parallel realities stemming from one decision: whether protagonist Dimitris takes his dog for a walk one night, leading him to meet his true love, Christina, during Greece's economic crisis, or stays in, missing her. The plot follows both paths, examining themes of fate, love, and how hardship impacts relationships, contrasting a romantic ideal with harsh reality as their lives diverge, one facing financial struggle and infidelity, the other a life unlived.
