Join Work o’ Fart at the Circular Fashion Hub for two cozy, joy-filled embroidery workshops where you’ll create your own handmade Christmas ornaments — from puffy felt sugar cookies to personalised alphabet hoops. Whether you come for one or both days, you’ll leave with festive décor that’s equal parts cute, quirky, and totally you.

Perfect for: Personalised gift-makers, DIY decorators, or anyone who loves festive, mindful crafting. Best of all, no embroidery experience required!

✨ Day 1 (Sat, 15 Nov): Personalised Alphabet Hoop Ornaments

Add a heartfelt, handmade touch to your Christmas décor by learning to create your very own monogrammed ornament! Using a festive colour palette and a charming wreath motif, you’ll stitch your chosen initial inside a 4" mini hoop — perfect for hanging on the tree, attaching to gifts, or cherishing as a personalised keepsake.

You’ll learn:

• Basic embroidery stitches for lettering and embellishment
• Colour composition for small designs
• Finishing and backing a mini embroidery hoop for display
  

🍪 Day 2 (Sun, 16 Nov): Stuffed Felt Sugar Cookie Ornaments

Join us for a cozy, sugar-sweet session where you’ll hand-stitch adorable felt sugar cookies that look almost good enough to eat. They’re perfect for hanging on your tree, gifting to friends, or confusing guests into thinking they’re real snacks.

You’ll learn:

• Decorative “icing” techniques with stitches or sparkly beads
• Techniques for affixing layers of felt together
• Finishing and stuffing your puffy ornament

All the materials you’ll require to take home at least one completed ornament — plus a handy PDF guide to refer to after class if you’d like to continue stitching at home!

Meet Shivohne — embroidery artist, pun enthusiast, and chief mischief-maker at Work o’ Fart. Her mission is to teach modern hand embroidery with a focus on play, colour, and imperfection — because art should feel good, not stressful. Expect lots of laughter, thread tangles, and that “oh my god I actually made this!” feeling.
