About SHINE Humanity
Our charity Iftar is in aid of SHINE Humanity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009. SHINE Humanity have 19 clinics in Sindh promoting preventive healthcare, serving 1.7 million patients since 2009.
Why Gilgit-Baltistan?
- Remote mountainous region, with limited access to care.
- High burden of respiratory and maternal health issues.
- Critical shortage of surgical services.
Impact and Track Record
- In the 2019 Medical Mission, 4000+ patients were treated and 120+ surgeries were performed in Skardu.
- International volunteers + local capacity building
2026 Mission Goals
- Outpatient and surgical care for underserved communities
- 50-80 international volunteers in April 2026
- Training local providers + feeder clinics + telemedicine
