Characterisation in Improvisation Theatre

Welcome to this 3-session course on Characterisation. The aim is to unlock your sense of physical and vocal playfulness. We'll look at ways to form a deeper connection with your body and perhaps open up what your body is capable of.

In this class, we'll be playing some classic short form improv games a la Whose Line is it Anyway. Through these, we'll explore making character relationships, status dynamics and even dipping our toes into long form improv.

This course is created for beginners and intermediate improv players to both enjoy and feel uplifted by. It is also very silly at times, as that is my particular sense of humour. I look forward to finding out yours
