Ceramic Jewellery Making with Mud + Mai
Join artist Josie of Mud + Mai for an afternoon of making beautiful jewellery components - with clay!
We'll start by rolling out slabs of clay, then design and craft bespoke pieces with cutters, creating custom shapes and hand carving. Experiment with textures and colours with a range of glazes.
Make beads, pendands, charms, brooches...
No previous experience necessary, just enthusiasm and a splash of creativity!
Your work will be fired and ready for collection 3 weeks from the workshop date.
*Note, we will only be working with clay, slip and underglaze on the day. Upon collection, some basic hardware (jump rings, earring hooks and badge backs) can be provided. This does not include any further chains, rings or hooks needed to complete your creations, but advice on procuring this can be provided in the workshop.
Knowledge Required
• Beginner - This course is for ages 16+ only.

What to bring
• Relaxed clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy. Bring your own apron if you have one.
Transport
• We are within a short walk from Stockport train and bus station. Parking is available at the Merseyway Shopping Centre NCP.
Refunds and Booking Terms
• Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As the workshop fees part support the work we do for as a non-for-profit, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.
• Unfortunately we cannot offer part refunds if you miss a session or are unable to attend!
