Join hundreds of men and women of faith from across our region for an inspiring 90 Minutes of Fellowship, Hope, Confidence and Encouragement.
A non-denominational, cross-community, volunteer-led, non-profit morning of worship and prayer. Our nation and region are in a season of great disruption and challenge. This creates the ideal window of opportunity for leaders of faith to move confidently and boldly into the gap, to propose and to model God's way. It's the perfect time for focused, strategic prayer, followed by positive action as God leads. It's a perfect time for Community.
Senator Drazan is a Christ follower who has served for many years as a conservative leader in our state - in the House of Representatives as Minority Leader, now as a State Senator. She is running for he second time to be governor of Oregon. Her message will be one of faith, however, not a political message. Imagine though, how difficult it must be to be a conservative Christian leader in the Oregon political arena. You may also find it challenging to be an ambassodor for Christ in the contentious world in which we live. But we are all to work and live in the world without being "of" the world. This concept comes from Jesus teaching in John 17:16, and it signifies that believers should actively live and work in society ("in the world") while remaining unswayed by worldly values, immorality, or materialism ("not of the world"). It emphasizes a spiritual identity focused on heavenly, moral, and divine principles - aiming to transform the world, rather than conform to it. So Senator Drazan's message of hope, perseverence and rooted identity in Christ is for all of us. Expect to be inspired, encouraged and empowered.
A Note about Ticket Pricing. This event is produced by a nonprofit foundation. We have not priced the event with an intent to make a profit, just to cover costs. The Riverhouse is the finest meeting facility in Central Oregon. It simply costs a lot to produce an event there in these inflationary times. Thanks in advance for your understanding. As in the last ten years past, the morning (and the impact of our prayer time together) will be worth it!
