For mental health professionals carrying what the work leaves behind.

Be witnessed. Find release. Feel less alone.

We hold space for others every day.
And still, we carry our own grief.

Clients we think about after hours.
Losses we never fully processed.
Burnout that lingers beneath competence.
Moral injury, system fatigue, and quiet despair.
Political, spiritual, and collective grief that seeps into the work.

You do not need a diagnosis to be affected by this work.
And not everything calls for therapy.
But clinicians, too, deserve a place to breathe, feel, and be witnessed.

What Is Catharsis Theater?

Catharsis Theater is a trauma-informed, psychodrama-inspired gathering that uses experiential group methods to help participants process emotions, restore connection, and find emotional release. It draws on psychodrama, sociometry, and experiential group methods that many clinicians first encountered in graduate school and training, and that shaped much of modern group practice in the 20th century.

Catharsis Theater brings this lineage into the present, offering an embodied, experiential space shaped in real time by the clinicians in the room.

Not therapy. Not a performance.
No diagnosis. No fixing.
Just presence, honesty, and release.
