Big sharing tables, covered with a bounty of dishes we’re currently obsessed with, upstairs at The Angel.
Celery toasties ready to drown in a smoked mussel bouillabaisse. Homemade mortadella alongside tumeric speckled wedge salad. Glistening monkfish swaddled by spiced butter. Pressed lamb ribs rest on a terrifyingly green lake of wild garlic. Mounds of ice cream and a flurry of sauces, liqueurs and acoutrements. You barely remember it’s a Tuesday.
