Camera Club – January Special: Cosy Winter Elegance

22nd & 29th January | Studio 101 | 7:00–9:00 PM

This January, we’re opening the year with two consecutive Camera Club sessions built around the same beautifully styled theme, giving photographers the chance to explore consistency, refinement, and creative growth — with different models each week.

Our January-inspired indoor set is all about cosy winter elegance. Think soft textures, rich tones, and intimate, editorial-style imagery. The studio will be styled with:

• Knitted throws, faux fur, and cosy jackets
• Elegant lingerie-inspired looks layered with fur and accessories
• Beaded necklaces, cosy jewellery, woolly hats, and sunglasses
• Winter props such as ice skates and skis
• Warm red and burgundy backdrops
• White plinths for seated portraits
• Natural studio elements including tree stubs

This setup is designed to let photographers explore mood, texture, layering, and storytelling, whether you’re shooting fashion, portraiture, or editorial concepts.

Models & Format

Each night will feature:

• One guest model (present for the first hour only, 7:00–8:00 PM)
• Camera Club model members available throughout the session

Shoots start dead on 7:00 PM. If you arrive late, please note that you may miss the opportunity to shoot with the guest model, though shooting continues until 9:00 PM across multiple lit areas of the studio.

Lighting & Studio Flow

Every Thursday at Camera Club we introduce:

• New lighting setups
• A fresh creative team
• Multiple shooting zones, all managed by our experienced studio assistants to keep things flowing smoothly and fairly

If you use flash, we strongly recommend bringing your own trigger. We do have triggers available, but having your own ensures a smoother shooting experience.

Image Delivery

All images taken during Camera Club must be uploaded to our shared drive, whether edited or unedited.
This ensures:

• Models receive their images
• Fair creative exchange for everyone involved
• A professional and respectful working environment

Facilities and Features

Studio 1O1 boasts a spacious 200m² area that includes both indoor and outdoor spaces, equipped with flash lights and trigger provided, allowing for a variety of shooting scenarios.

• White Studio: Featuring interchangeable backdrops, and a platform for suspending backgrounds, ideal for different creative setups.
• Black Studio: Perfect for low-key lighting, featuring black brick walls and a variety of background options.
• Lounge Area: Includes a panel wall, currently amber, along with cement walls and vinyl flooring.
• Courtyard: Offers unique features such as a black tunnel, brick walls, and a newly resin-coated floor.
• Salon: A dedicated makeup area with two makeup stalls, mirrors, desks, and hairdressing chairs.
• Kitchen: Equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle, with a Sainsbury's conveniently located next door.

Accessibility

Studio 1O1 is easily accessible next to Deptford Train Station and offers parking on a first-come, first-served basis.
