We expand upon the skills learned in Cake Deco 101; students will learn intermediate piping skills, buttercream flowers, and much more.

Get inspired to expand your repetoir of skills with our intermediate cake decorating class at Pizzelle! This hands-on class is perfect for those that have taken our Cake 101 class or have been decorating cakes at home comfortably for a while and need a new challenge. In this fun and informative session, you will:

1. Refresh on Fundamentals of Cake Decorating: Re-visit the basics of leveling, filling, crumb coating, and completing the base layer of your cake.

2. Icing Techniques: Master different icing methods using buttercream, cream cheese frosting, whipped cream, or ganache. Learn to use a new medium you've been unfamiliar with or get some practice with your favorite icing.

3. Piping Skills: Practice piping borders, flowers, and other decorative elements with various tips. We will explore more advanced boarders than those in the beginner course.

4. Creative Design: Explore more advanced design concepts to create visually appealing cakes. For example: how to decorate the sides of a cake, how to position flowers on your cake, how to write, and more.

5. Professional Tips and Tricks: Gain insider tips for achieving professional-looking results.
