Business Venture Competition

The Delta College Business and Entrepreneurship Club will host a semester-long, multi-stage busines competition to foster innovation, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills among college and unversity students in the Central Valley and Northern California region. This event will provide students with the opportunity to develop and present business ideas, while engaging with mentors, faculty, and local business leaders.

Stage 1 - Business Plan Submission (Starts Oct. 06 - Ends Nov. 07)

• Teams submit a full business plan (up to 10 pages and a 2 minute pitch video.
• Business plans and pitch videos will be evaluated on desirability, feasibility, and viability.
• A detailed rubric of the judges scoring and guidelines sheet is at Business Plan & Video Rubric
• Judges will provide feedback and select finalists to advance to Stage 2.
  

Stage 2 - Final Presentations (Nov. 22)

• Finalist teams will present in person, on campus before a panel of judges, including faculty, local business leaders, and potential sponsors/investors.
• Presentations should be professional, engaging, and clearly communicate the business model and technicals.

• Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event, with business-related prizes and recognition awarded.
