Join your fellow crafty foodies for an evening of fun making collages from vintage food magazines and books as we look ahead to 2026!

You all sold out our first event so quickly so we added another one!

Join us for the fourth meeting of BOLD FORK CRAFTS, led by Brinda and Elizabeth! Get your creative juices flowing and leave your stress at the door by cutting, ripping, assembling, and gluing images and words from magazines and other materials to create a food-focused work of art or vision board. Explore food history as you manifest your food future while connecting with others.

Here’s how it works: the craft is self-led and open ended; you are free to create your own art with the materials we provide.

Bring your own snacks and if you are able, a pair of scissors. All other materials will be provided.

ABOUT ELIZABETH & BRINDA:

Brinda Penmetsa is the Director of Events and Marketing at Bold Fork Books. She spends a lot of time thinking about words, food, and building community around the two in DC. Brinda likes drawing, she is curious about wine, and is always listening to music.

Elizabeth Stone is the Director of Operations at Bold Fork Books. When not cooking or baking at home, she can be found cross-stitching, painting, mending, gardening, knitting, and otherwise DIY-ing (or at least, starting all of those projects).
