Our childbirth education class is designed to prepare expectant parents with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools needed for labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. This event offers a supportive, interactive space where families can learn, ask questions, and feel empowered as they approach their birthing experience. Taught by an experienced certified doula (Robin) with years of hands-on birth support and maternal-health advocacy. Interactive, supportive class environment—not a lecture. Partner-friendly: Support persons will learn exactly how to help during labor. Practical tools you can use immediately. Resource list included: Birth plan templates, hospital bag checklist, and postpartum planning worksheet. Perfect for first-time parents or anyone wanting a refresher.
Evidence-Based Education: Learn the stages of labor, comfort measures, pain management options, the role of the support person, and what to expect in a hospital or birth center setting.
Hands-On Practice: Try breathing techniques, labor positions, counterpressure, and relaxation exercises that you can use during labor.
Clear Guidance on Hospital Procedures: Understand common interventions, your rights, informed consent, and how to navigate triage, monitoring, induction, and postpartum care.
Newborn & Postpartum Essentials: Get an overview of immediate newborn care, feeding basics, postpartum recovery, and how to prepare your home and support system.
Space to Ask Questions: Bring your concerns, fears, and curiosities. We’ll talk through them together.
Supportive Community: Connect with other expecting families who are preparing for the same journey.
