Come and join our expert rangers for a guided wildlife walk around the park! We will be walking the path of one of our official pollinator surveys and carrying them out with your help. These walks are a wonderful way to learn more about Ryton’s numerous bumblebees, butterflies and wildflowers - as well as any other wildlife we see along the way! It is also a chance to see some of the stunning private conservation areas of the park up close.
You will join us on the meadow walk, one of two survey routes in the park. It is a circular, easy-going walk through our wildflower offsetting meadow and along the pirate trail (marked in yellow on the map)
This event is suitable for all ages. Depending on the weather at this time of year we could be out in the sun for a prolonged period, and there may be areas of long vegetation, so please bring suitable footwear and clothing. Meet the rangers under the canopy by the visitor centre.
