Beyond the Car Divide: Fair Transport Policy for an Autonomous Mobility Future

As London prepares for the arrival of autonomous taxi services, an increasing number of city halls around the world face critical questions about how technology, policy, and public values will shape the future of mobility.

This event explores the challenges and opportunities of integrating autonomous transport, shared mobility and "mobility-as-a-service" with existing transport services in fair and sustainable ways. It will consider how to secure public trust, deliberate change openly, embrace transport demand management, and balance the movement and place functions of streets. Bringing together experts and decision makers, the discussion aims to establish common ground for shaping transport systems that advance equity, sustainability, and collective wellbeing at a point when cities are beginning to embrace automated mobility.

We aim to make all LSE Cities events available as a podcast subject to receiving permission from the speaker/s to do this, and subject to no technical problems with the recording of the event.
