wfjrFILMS presents "Beats & Brotherhood" a short documentary about an Atlanta-based music producer showcase. Also showing "City of Kings."

Films start promptly at 6:30pm. "City of Kings: Atlanta" and "Beats & Brotherhood" will run back-to-back with Q&A directly afterwards.

"City of Kings"

City of Kings is a public art origin story. Historian, archivist and educator, Antar K. Fierce explores the origins of Atlanta’s graffiti culture and its influence on the city’s current street art movement.

The vibrant look of our city streets owes its origins to generations of graffiti and style writers. Their activity, though in some instances outside the bounds of what’s strictly legal, has evolved into a proud culture of public artwork and an ongoing visual conversation.
