About the Festival
Welcome to BELIFF 2025, London’s vibrant celebration of independent cinema. Now in its ninth edition, BELIFF (Be Epic!) champions meaningful, bold storytelling and brings together filmmakers and film-lovers in a spirit of discovery and creativity. The festival selects a diverse programme of short and feature-length films — from animation, documentary, fiction, to experimental works — all chosen for originality, voice and vision.

Set in the heart of East London at Queen Mary University’s ArtsOne/BLOC venue, the festival offers an immersive experience: engaging screenings, thought-provoking conversations and opportunities to connect with emerging voices in cinema.
