Bathgate Motorcycle Road Safety Roadshow

Following the excellent turnout and overwhelmingly positive feedback in 2025, our Motorcycle Road Safety Roadshow comes to Whitburn/Bathgate for the first time. This free event is designed for riders of all ages and experience levels.

Expect a packed programme covering:

• How motorcycle injury claims unfold and key interactions after a crash.
• Demonstration of safe helmet removal for first responders.
• Road casualty trends, contributory factors and collision causation.
• What happens after an incident: investigation, evidence and COPFS processes.
• Advanced riding pathways – IAM, RoSPA and other training providers.
• Mechanical safety essentials every rider should know.

Expert presenters include representatives from Motorcycle Law Scotland, Police Scotland, IAM volunteers, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service and Sweco UK. Industry partners and community supporters will also attend.

Entry is free with voluntary donations supporting SCAA.
