Banned Books Club (Bimonthly)
Join us for a discussion of a different banned book every other month. We will discuss the reasons for each book's challenges or bans, the history of each of the books, and the content of the book itself.

January 13: Evil Eye by Etaf Rum
Forced to confront past traumas and tensions between community and individuality, a woman attempts a personal reset. Evil Eye is the highly acclaimed sophomore novel of Palestinian writer, Etaf Rum. This was one of many books targeted for removal by the Department of Defense’s banned books list. Copies of the book will be available to check out at Helpdesk 1. Digital ebooks and audiobooks are also available on Hoopla and Libby.
